Two Towns to Compare

A visual comparison and speaking worksheet for Super Minds Second Edition Level 2 learners. Children inspect two imaginary towns, mark answers with ticks or crosses and practise questions with “Has … got …?” Includes an English teacher guide with oral prompts, answers and alternatives.

Target Vocabulary
hospital, cinema, swimming pool

Target Language
Has Town A got a hospital?
Has Town B got a swimming pool?
Yes, it has. / No, it hasn’t.

Activity

  • Review the places in Town A and Town B with teacher support.
  • Listen as the teacher reads each question aloud.
  • Look at the named town and mark a tick or cross.
  • Say the matching short answer.
  • Take turns asking and answering the four questions.
  • Ask about the cinema in each town for an extra speaking round.

Learning Goal
Compare visual information and answer questions about what a town has got.

Teacher’s Insight
Each card shows all the places in its imaginary town for this game. An unpictured place counts as absent. Keep both cards visible and model every question orally; independent reading and sentence writing are unnecessary.
