Four Places to Find

A listening and speaking worksheet for Super Minds Second Edition Level 2 learners. Children identify four places, number the matching watercolour pictures and practise saying their names. Includes an English teacher guide with two listening rounds, answer keys and supported alternatives.

Target Vocabulary
hospital, cinema, playground, swimming pool

Activity

  • Review the four places with teacher support.
  • Listen to each numbered place name.
  • Write its number in the circle beside the matching picture.
  • Listen again and check together.
  • Take turns naming a place while a partner points.
  • Erase the answers before trying the second listening round.

Learning Goal
Recognise spoken place names and recall them using picture support.

Teacher’s Insight
The numbers identify listening prompts, not a route through a town. Children may use number tokens or point while an adult records. Independent reading, spelling and full sentences are unnecessary.
