Face Pairs

This watercolor worksheet helps beginner young learners practise three facial-feature words through picture matching and supported speaking. Children connect matching pictures across two columns and name each pair. No independent reading or word writing is required. Includes a separate teacher page with preparation, classroom ideas, an answer key and accessible alternatives.

Target Vocabulary: Eyes, nose, mouth.

Activity:

  • Explore: Look at the pictures and practise their names together.
  • Match: Find the same facial feature in the other column.
  • Connect: Draw a line between the dots beside the matching pictures.
  • Say: Name each matched feature with teacher support.
  • Try another way: Point to both matching pictures instead of drawing a line.

Learning Goal: To recognise and name three facial features while practising visual matching and making connections between pictures and spoken English.
