An information-gap worksheet for Super Minds Level 2 learners. Children exchange missing information about the same market stock, practising food vocabulary, questions and careful listening. Includes illustrated partner cards and a teacher guide with model dialogue and answers.
Target Vocabulary
tomatoes, potatoes, lemons, grapes
Target Language
“Are there any …?”
“Yes, there are.” / “No, there aren’t any.”
Activity
- Cut the student page into cards A and B.
- Give each partner one card and keep their information hidden.
- Children ask about foods with empty circles, then record their partner’s answers with ticks or crosses.
- Reveal both cards and compare the completed information.
Learning Goal
Ask and answer questions about food availability to complete missing information.
Teacher’s Insight
The pictures identify food categories. A tick means available, a cross means unavailable, and an empty circle means information is missing. Demonstrate these meanings before starting.
